Wendy Kimber Powell Lake

Wendy Jean Kimber Powell Lake, age 34 of Nephi, Utah, returned to her Heavenly Father on August 14, 2005. She was born March 2, 1971 in Provo to Lloyd E. and Gloria Craig Kimber. She married Devan Powell in 1990, and was later divorced. She married Kenneth Russell Lake in 2004.
Wendy attended schools in Provo, and graduated in 1989. She enjoyed fishing, camping and being outdoors. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Wendy loved her family dearly, and her son Kyler was the joy of her life. She will be remembered for her sparkling personality and her compassionate feelings for others.
She is survived by her son Kyler of Las Vegas, Nevada; husband Kenneth Lake of Nephi, Utah; a step-son Josh Lake of Lemington, Utah; her mother, Gloria and step-father Kay Osborne of Fillmore, Utah; a brother, Kelly (JoDee) Kimber of Springville, Utah; a niece and nephew, Ellie and Bridger Kimber. Aunts and Uncles, Janice (Joe) Gabbitas of Provo; Cliff (Shanna) Craig of Smithfield; Paula (Dave) Sitch of Colorado; Jackie (Allan) Miller of Idaho; Susie Craig of Orem; Floyd (Dena) Kimber of Mapleton; and Dean (Gloria) Kimber of West Valley City. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Kimber.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2005 at 11:00 a.m., in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.

Shes happier then she was. Her demons were very strong and she did her best.
