It's sure been fun to read everyone's posts.

I'll try to keep this brief: After PHS, I went to BYU where I met my great husband, Jared. We married in 1992 and I graduated with a degree in English and Jared in Political Science in 1993. We spent a fun couple years on beautiful Hayden Lake in Idaho, running a Bed and Breakfast.

In 1997 we moved to Phoenix, Arizona and we've been in this area ever since. My husband has worked in the health insurance industry, but is just venturing out into something new. We are starting a skateboard company (which if anyone knows us, is right up our alley). It is called Hobo Skate Company, so look for it very soon!
We have 4 beautiful kids: Austin (14), Jacob (11), Sophia (9), and Max (5). I am involved in church with the young women and driving my kids around to soccer games and music lessons. I love running, music (my husband and I are in a band with friends;
he plays guitar, I play bass), concerts, books, traveling and, most of all, my family.
Life is good and I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in a few weeks!

I've been working for several weeks now on this "Where Are They Now" assignment that we were given. Hopefully this eighth draft is good enough to post.

After high school I followed Wendy Jo Watts up north to Utah State University. I graduated from USU in '92 and went to work for the family business. I returned to school a few years later and got an MBA from BYU. I can't tell you how valuable an MBA has been while raising children-I've taught all my kids the Black-Scholes model before they were potty trained!

I married Ken Nelson (PHS '88) in 1995. We have four great kids: Andy (age 11), Jack (9), Katy (6), and my baby Lucy turned 4 last week! We live in the Phoenix area where my husband works as a patent attorney, and I am a Lady of Leisure.

Our family was in a devastating car accident three years ago. Dealing with the aftermath of that has been difficult and continues to take up a lot of time and effort. Overall, though, life has been pretty darn good.

I was really looking forward to coming to the reunion and spending the 4th of July in Provo but had a conflict arise. Maybe Tawnya Smith & Co. can pull a reunion cruise together for Fall '10. Who's in?

Ok, so, no I didn't run off and joing the "solid gold dancers" like you may have expected, but that would have been fun, he he he. I was a backup dancer for the Jets during the 1989 Stadium of Fire, but that's really as far as the professional dancing went...So what did I do you might ask, I did just like any 19yr young lady should do...I got married right away!! I married Troy Whiting from the Provo High's Class of 1986. While married I attended and graduated as class victorian and student body president of Stevens Henager College of Business with an Associates Degree in Accounting. We divorced shortly after, and I moved to Arizona 1993. Married again and lived in Mesa, Arizona, Redwood California, Salt Lake, and then back to Chandler Arizona were I've been since 1996. I worked in accounting and finance for 10-12 yrs in various types of construction accounting jobs. My favorite accounting job was working in San Franisco on market street as assistant controller. I divorced again in 2000 and went back to college made a career change in 2005 into property management. I have been working in real estate as a realtor for last 3 years and loving it. I am single now and have one 12 yr old son named Chaz, who is taller than me already, like that is saying much being I stopped growing in Jr High at 5'2". I am still active in dance with ballroom dancing, hip hop, and will be a certified Zumba instructor next month. Zumba is great, it is a form of aerobic dance where you get to work out by dancing. If you haven't Zumba'd yet, you should, it's the bomb!

Hard to believe it’s been 20 years…how do I say that at all creatively after reading it 100 different ways? Oh well, the price you pay for being tardy!

After graduation, I went to BYU where I was able to join the swim team, and then left on an LDS mission to Torreon, Mexico. I came home in 1992 and graduated in English in 1995 and also got married that summer to a great girl named Lara Bisgaard from LA that I met in English classes at BYU. I continued at BYU and got my Master’s in English in 1997. In 1998, after moving to Los Angeles, we had our first baby, Anna. You might have seen that birth featured on TLC’s The Baby Story. That was pretty exciting, and she definitely has the coolest birth video of all our kids. In 1999, we had our first boy, Topher, and then we moved to Northern California. In 2001, we moved to Massachusetts to work for HP. During this time, I completed an MBA at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. We had our next son, Jacob, in 2003. In 2004, we had the opportunity with HP to move to Boise, Idaho. We were excited to get back to the west although we loved our time back east. We had our fourth baby, Sharon, in 2006 here in Boise. I am still with HP and those are pretty much the highlights.

Our family loves to ski, and all other manner of outdoor activities. Right now we are pretty focused on all our kids’ various activities from sports games to piano recitals. I am really excited about this weekend, it has been fun catching up via all your blogs. My wife keeps a family blog at www.larainidaho.blogspot.com - check it out.

After graduating I attended Snow College for one year before and after my mission to Chile. I then transferred to Occidental College in Los Angeles to play football with my brother Erik where I majored in Kinesiology. I graduated from there in 1995 and then went to medical school at USC. During med school I joined the Navy to help offset the cheap tuition at USC. I also got married during my first year of med school. After graduating in 1999 we moved to Bremerton, Washington where I began a residency in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital there. Unfortunately my marriage started to fall apart and I was separated from my wife. During that time I tried to run away my pain by training for a couple of Portland Marathons. I finished my residency in 2002 and was stationed in Port Hueneme, California (located in Ventura County along the coast). It was a tough job as my clinic overlooked the 5th tee of the base golf course where I spent most mornings before work. Soon after my first marriage ended in divorce, I thought my life was turning out all wrong. But amazingly within the year I met Mitzi Tarazon at a Memorial Day barbeque where mutual friends and family had helped (forced) us to meet. Both of us assumed it was just another lame setup only to be pleasantly surprised that all of the complimentary descriptions were actually true. After about 7 1/2 weeks of blissful dating, we eloped at the Ventura county courthouse. We didn't tell any of our families until the next day, and they were obviously pretty shocked (except for my parents, who were just relieved that my life had been salvaged). Not long after my time with the navy was done and I took a job in Mississippi in a small town. I know, what was I thinking? Not sure, but it was a great experience for my career being a small town family doctor. In the summer of 2004 we were sealed together in the Los Angeles Temple (to the great relief of MItzi's parents). However back in Mississippi, Mitzi didn't really buy into the whole southern lifestyle, although the people definitely lived up to their great hospitality reputation. After 3 years we made it back to Ventura County in California (the promised land), but not before we had given birth to two children, who for better or worse, will always call Jackson, Mississippi their birthplace. Carson is our 3 1/2 year old son and Isabelle is our 2 year old daughter. They are awesome and make our lives better than we could have imagined. I am working at a clinic in Camarillo, California which is a neighboring town to where we live in Oxnard. I practice family medicine and work in the urgent care there as well. We are incredibly blessed and are grateful for our membership in the Church and the wonderful perspective that it brings to our lives. We look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion.

Hello everyone! I'm sad I won't be able to make it to the reunion. I hope everything goes well. I live in Salt Lake with my husband Scott and three children... Ben, Grace, and Lucy. Scott works with vSpring Capital and I go to lunch everyday with my friends or sisters (I wish). I don't know how so many of you have more than three kids. I have to remind myself to breath most days, how did my own mother raise twelve?!! Life is amazing. I try to ride my road bike as much as possible and spend time with my family. The highlight of this past year was traveling to Peru with my dad and two younger sisters. We climbed to the top of Waynu Picchu (picture below) and had a marvelous time seeing Machu Picchu, what a place! It's been thoroughly enjoyable reading about all of you. Hopefully I'll make it to the next reunion.

Hi Everyone!! Twenty years have gone by fast! I'm sure you all feel the same. In a nutshell, I live in Sandy and I have four kids and one wife. My wife is Melissa. Our oldest is Tanner who is 12, Dallin 4, Ellie 2, and Stephen 1.

After high school, I served a mission to Guatemala City South 1990-1992. I went to college and went to Western States Chiropractic College in Oregon. I have been a Chiropractor in Sandy for the last 10 years. (see website www.naturalhealthandwellness.com). We love the Salt Lake area, no offense to all you Utah County people. We love to travel and spend time with our kids. Life has been good to us.

It's good to see that so many of you will be coming to the Reunion. To catch you up:

After High School in November I left on my mission to New York, Rochester (Palmyra area). There I gained a love of church history and teaching people. When I got back to Provo I played golf at UVCC, won my first tournament, took second in my second, but realized at nationals that, although I loved the game, it would take more than I was willing to give to make it a career. So, for all intents and purposes, I put the sticks away and started a new life. It also had something to do with rekindling my relationship with Christa Ghoslin (Class of '90, we dated briefly in high school). We were married in 1993 and stuck our noses into college books (hers was already there). I got an Economics degree and MBA from BYU, while she got a Masters in Molecular Biology, also from BYU (we often saw Blake Baliff in the labs and lived in Dave Rowe's ward for a while).

It took us eight years to have a child, which didn't worry me until about year six. After quitting fertility treatment, we finally had our first girl, Lindsay in 2001. She's been followed by Nichole and Greta. We don't know how we got such cute kids (Christa's genes I guess). Now I'm stocking up on guns and ammo in preparation for the dating years, or the next revolutionary war, whichever comes first. We recently added a puppy with very sharp teeth, also a female. FYI, Christa came from a family of six girls. To get the oft-needed testosterone boost, I take my girls to Cabelas, or Home Depot, or Gold's Gym. They haven't quite gotten into golf or cars yet...sigh. That said, I'm extremely well-versed in everything princess, fairy, and Hanna Montana (which I do enjoy...did I just say that out loud). Other fun female topics are just around the corner.

While in college I started an automotive enthusiast web site, beginning as CarPictures.com and branching out from there. It was mostly a hobby, but when I won the BYU business plan competition with it, the Utah Angels invited me to present to them. They warned me that about 1% of companies got their funding. Somehow I did and it has change my life ever since. The funny thing was that this investment happened concurrently with the dot-com bubble bust, in the Spring of 2000. So, I worked on that full-time under difficult market conditions for four years, until I realized that my family and I, and even my company, needed me to leave self-employment.

I got lucky (blessed) to join Ancestry.com in 2004 and am currently the Product Manager over U.S. Content. This experience has taught me much about internet business and content models. As employment is never certain, I still have my other internet content business, mostly being operated by others. Life is very good for us.

Here is a photo of me and one of the wife and kids, sorry I don't have a recent one of all of us together. I don't have any cool stories of the past 20 years to post on th blog page. I Went to Dixie College for a bit after graduation, then went on a short mission to Mexico. Then was dumb and married a girl from St George and we had three boys. She got to mental and too many problems and we were divorced. I spent 13 years working for Smith's grocery store and ended up hating being there. I finished a Criminal Justice degree sometime between all of this at UVSC and went back to what I always wanted to do and be a police officer. I finished the police academy in 2002 and spent time as a reserve officer for Pleasant Grove. I was offered a full time job with Vernal City and moved there in 2005. Between all of the job hunting, divorce, and other things I got custody of my three boys and remarried Chalyce who grew up in American Fork. She too was divorced and had four kids, two boys and two girls. Her kids stayed here when we moved and by then we added one boy of our own. After the first year in Vernal Chalyce was ready to go back home and be closer to her kids. After another two years I gave in and we returned to Utah County in 2008. Chalyce is a Police Officer for American Fork and enjoys working where she grew up and being back close to her kids. Her oldest daughter graduated this year from American Fork High. We live in Lehi and have four boys at all times and two more most times. The girls come and go and it is an age thing for them. I started working for West Jordan City as a Police Officer and am adjusting to the busy job compared to hick town Vernal calls and the red neck locals (sorry if that offends anyone, but if you are from there then you know how it is and can't be offended). It keeps me on edge wondering what call will be next in West Jordan it can get crazy at times. We enjoy camping, ridding four wheelers, and what ever other outdoor things we can find. The kids are Kenzy 18, Josh 16, Karissa 15, Zakk 14, Kade 13, Chandler 10, Keaton 8, and Gabe 7.

I am amazed that 20 years have passed! I'm sure the rest of you feel the same way I do--still young, wondering where the time has gone? I have lots of memories of PHS (mostly running, and studying, and running and studying..you get the idea).

I finally had time to read through the blog stories that have been posted, and I have really enjoyed reading about everyone, their lives, their families, and what they have been doing for the last 20 years.

As for me? I met my husband Paul Rosser, while I was at BYU. We were both on the track and cross-country teams there (i know, huge cliche'). We moved to Salt Lake City after Paul graduated from BYU so he could coach the University of Utah men's track and cross country teams. I finished up my college running at the U. (Fun to be married to the coach!)
I graduated with my RN from the U and worked at LDS and St. Mark's hospitals in the ICU's.Paul got his RN while at the U, and worked in the Burn Trauma Unit at the U Hospital.

We lived in SLC for 7 years before we moved back to Provo for more schooling. We had our first child, Madison, during our first year of BYU grad school. I think I was defending my thesis about the same time we had our 10th year reunion? We both graduated with our master's and as Nurse Practitioners in 1999. Paul works at the Utah Valley Pain Center in Orem with the interventional radiologists. After more than 10 years specializing in women's health care, I opened my own office "The Women's Center" in Provo just a few months ago. I love the education and disease prevention aspects of what I do. I focus a lot on being healthy and living well.

We added to our family soon after graduation. Jack is 7 (2nd grade) and is very analytical, quite a thinker, and likes to have all the facts, loves legos, transformers, and puzzles, bugs and blood, doesn't seem to have the patience for sports. Georgia is 5 (1st grade) and is a princess all the way! She is very social, has lots of little girl friends, loves to sing and dance Tommy is 4 (pre-k) and might be a line-backer when he gets older, loves to wrestle, and EAT ALL THE TIME. Madison is 10 (5th grade) and loves soccer. She is smart, a great leader, and has a great heart. She loves to run, too, which makes her dad and me very happy. She recently finished 3rd at the district track meet in the 800m. We would LOVE to have a runner in the family and spend the day at track meets again!

We moved to the the Hunter's Valley area of Springville in 2000, and since then, many PHS grads move into the neighborhood. Jennifer (Murphy) Jackson and I share a backyard. Tonya (Smith) Monson and I were team managers for our girls' premier soccer team last year, and her husband is Madison's soccer coach. Maria (Chambers) Ruf and I are on the school board together. Dave Rowe, my old track teammate, annouced my daughters 400m and 800m hershey track wins at Springville High this spring (that was an awesome experience!) Dave's wife, Debbie, is in my ward's relief society presidency, and I was their oldest daughter (Elsie)'s Sunday school teacher last year. Kind of crazy!

I still love running and really enjoy the marathon distance, and have recently taken-up long distance cycling. I love photography and carry my camera everywhere. Paul has won many marathons including Desert News, Park City, Lake Powell, and St. George. His best marathon time of 2:16 qualified him for the Olympic Trials Marathon.

It's been so fun reading about everyone. After High school I attended Ricks college and roomed with Diann Lott and Tiffany Thelin. It was a blast, and I played way more than I studied. I transfered to BYU where I decided to finally get serious and study hard. I wanted to study archealogy as I always had a crush on Indiana Jones but had a few more G.E. classes to take, so I enrolled in a Philosophy class, fell in love with the TA and promptly married him (yes, I got an "A" in the class).
We have been married for 18 years and have five kids. Kenny 17, Rachel 15, Daniel 12, Sam 10 and Joseph who is 6. We stay super busy with sports and church but we are loving it. In my free time (ha,ha) I love to run, road bike and read. I am training for my fourth marathon, have completed several century road rides and would love to do a half ironman one day (maybe when I finish all the laundry:). Dave is an avid Mountain biker so we spend a lot of time as a family biking and wrecking. I have some "Sick" scars that my four boys are proud of. Two of our kids are on the high school basketball team, so we spend lots of time at the gym which seems like my second home. I actually love the smell of a gym.

We love living in Cedar City and have been here for the last ten years. We lived in Costa Rica and Arizona but Cedar City reminds me of Provo "back in the day" and we will be here for at least a few more years. I am excited to see y'all at the reunion. It has been a lot of fun to catch up with everyone through this blog. The last 20 years have gone by faster than I thought they would.

After graduating from PHS, I attended BYU where I dated and eventually married a PHS graduate, Kacy McNeal. We have four children, Sam (11), Maggie (9), Ben (6), and Ellen (2). We live in Provo on the street I grew up on, so I see a lot of familiar faces on a regular basis and I love it.

I studied Accounting at BYU, but I've never done accounting professionally. After graduation, I worked for a management consulting company in Los Angeles. We loved living in California, but we decided to moved back to Provo when the opportunity presented itself. Over the last 20 years I've found that I really enjoy starting businesses and working with startups. I have been able to start four businesses and I currently run one of them -- a small company that helps businesses grow through franchising. I feel like I've been really lucky.

Sorry I don't have a better picture of the family. I'm doing this at the VERY last minute and this is all I could come up with.

When you see me at the reunion you are bound to say (to yourself hopefully) Oooh look, it’s Heather Thurman. Yes, it really has been 30, I mean 20 years……

Just like all of you a lot has happened in those years. After high school, I attended and graduated from UVSC while working retail at the infamous University Mall. During that time I met and married Brent Richins. Within our first years as a married couple we moved to Salt Lake where I continued to work retail (boo!) and then moved to Patient Accounting at the U of U Hospital - until an amazing gift came to our home our daughter, Alexis. I became a mom over night by “special delivery”, a miracle & true blessing. I completely dove into the mom roll because 14 months later, our oldest son Nicholas was born. Four years of no kids, traveling and late nights where traded practically overnight for 2 kids, diapers, no sleep and even later nights.

Life must have been going too well because a job change took us from everything we were used to, to Denver, Colorado. The first thing I learned was how to buy a house by myself and for six years, I learned to live away from my friends and family. It ended up being the best experience. We loved it in Denver. I started my own business called Sew Cute 4 Kids where I taught kids to sew. I had a great time teaching and continue to dabble in this business to this day. While there our third baby was born, Benjamin.

Once again, life must have been going too well. This time a job offer took us to a completely foreign country……..Southern California. Once again, I bought a house….by myself and we hauled all our stuff and three kids across three states. Ask Rana Barton about that move. She was my husband’s second wife for that adventure. While in “SoCal”, as me and homies call it, we spent a lot of time at the beach and our home away from home, Disneyland. (We still mourn the day that our season passes to Disneyland expired.) It was a short 18 months in California when yet another job offer threw our life in the air again!

Since 2006 my family has been living back in Colorado in the Vail Valley. We live in Gypsum, Colorado which sits about 30 minutes west of Vail and about 30 minutes east of Glenwood Springs. Small town, beautiful valley, cold winters and high property taxes. Even paradise has a price! Since being back in Colorado our fourth baby, Rowen was born. I continue to work a little and volunteer at the schools since my job as a mother is definitely more than full time.

In case you lost track, let me recap. 20 years, 4 moves, 3 states, 4 kids, (Alexis 13, Nicholas 12, Benjamin 7, Rowen 18 months). 3 months of complete bed rest with each of the last 3 pregnancies chocolate and candy was NOT included.

However, end result - Totally worth it! 1dog, numerous friends, no regrets.

It's hard to believe that 20 years have come and gone. It has been great to read your blogs and to get a glimpse into what so many of you have been up to. I wish there were other opportunities to catch up more frequently than every 20 years or so. Here is a brief run down of my life. After high school, I attended BYU for a year before serving as an LDS missionary in Geneva, Swtizerland. When I returned, I completed my undergraduate and masters degrees in Molecular Biology at BYU. In the middle of that time, I was set up on a blind date by my good friends Mark and Marilee Durrant (they were not married yet) to one of Marilee's Orem High friends, Kara Streuling. To make a long story short, we were married in 1996 after Kara returned from her mission in Lithuania. We moved to Houston, Texas in 1998 to begin a PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine in Molecular and Human Genetics which we finished in 2003. After a brief stint in intellectual property law, we left the heat and humidity of Houston and moved to beautiful Spokane, Washington where I have worked for the past 5 years as the Director of Product Development and Research for a genetic testing company called Signature Genomics. We have 5 wonderful children: Cameron (10), Cade (8), Caleb (6), Paige (2), and Porter (3 months) that keep us really busy but we enjoy it. We love Washington and plan to stay here as long as we can. Life is good. I look forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. Thanks to all of those who have helped put this reunion together.

How does one sum up 20 years without sounding to boring or smug? I figured I’d answer the same questions that come to mind when I hear a familiar name from high school. So let’s get straight to the nitty-gritty. Let the fun begin! Please note in advance… I love to use “…” and I don’t believe in sentence structure when I post something on a blog. Just fair warning.

Did they get married? I haven’t so far. However… I like to think that the second I become interested in being married I’ll do something about it. I also reserve the right to change my mind about any topic at any point in the future. There is always something new to learn…

Do they have children? That would be a resounding no… none of my own. I have plenty of friends and family to supply me with one whenever I have the urge. This way I can give it back after I’ve let it do (mostly) whatever it wants. Even the little dog that lives with me knows we hang out on a trial basis. I’m not exactly certain when I started to think in terms of ‘this is my space’.

Where do they live? I live in Salt Lake (Sugarhouse) currently. I moved back to Utah in 2005 after spending 8’ish years exploring New England living in New Hampshire, Boston and on Cape Cod. I love the east and miss it very much (everything but the black flies and mosquitoes).

Where do they work? I worked for Fidelity Investments from 1993 – 2003 and again after a three year vacation (that’s a story that has both a long and a short version) from 2006-2008. I started working for Goldman Sachs in January this year. Which is exactly when I discovered that I had “matured”. Very nearly every person I work with is about 23! Oh for life to be that simple again and when I think of the money they (translated I’ve) wasted…

How is it I ever thought I was fat during High School? About a year ago when I realized I may be seeing people who would remember me as looking… let’s say somewhat different. I calculated how much weight I wanted to lose (each month, each week and each day… for the record I did not make any hourly calculations). I figured with such a defined and easily measurable goal it would be a success. We’ll just say the plan didn’t work the way I thought it would.

Are they doing what they dreamed of doing? Well for me… I like to think of myself as a bit like Susan Boyle (if you don’t know who that is you really need to get out more… so get on online and go to You Tube) albeit ten years younger, with better eyebrows and cuter shoes. “Here’s hoping this will be the chance.” I just have to figure out what the dream is before Simon asks me!! I’m afraid I let living keep getting in my way.

And finally… Is anyone really interested in knowing what I’m doing? The answer is YES. I’ll put it this way. I never work less than 50 hours a week… I relish my sleep… I’ll need to be up in about five hours and I work at a place that really makes me use my brain. However I find myself on the Provo High blog and on Facebook catching up on the little details of people I knew when...

Wow, how time flies! After high school, I attended college for a couple of semesters before leaving for an LDS Mission to Micronesia. While there, I fell in love with the islands and the island people (not to mention the island food). After my mission, I attended BYU-Hawaii where I fell in love with the only thing that could top living in paradise, my beautiful wife, Tabitha. Tabitha was a performer in the group Showcase Hawaii, where I hired on as a technician. We got engaged, then married, and soon after enjoyed a month long honeymoon in Asia while Showcase Hawaii was on tour.

While attending school, Tabitha and I had our first two of five children. Their names are Brittany and Emily and they love telling people they were born in Hawaii. Tabitha and I love telling people that with our student insurance plan, the two of them cost us only $25 each! If only the next three could have been so inexpensive.

After college, our family moved to Utah where I continued to put my education and experience in Computer Science to use. I worked in several positions from software developer, to website designer, to managing an ISP, to working as the Director of Technology for an international dot com. The whole time I was also running my own computer consulting business on the side. In time, I found the perfect position. I currently work with the LDS Church in the Information and Communication Systems group as a Senior Systems Engineer. My love of the Gospel and love of computers serve me well there.

Tabitha and I now live with our five kids in Eagle Mountain (just north and west of Provo) along with our two wonderful beagles, Snickers and Baby Ruth. My oldest, Brittany, is 15 and loves the theater even more than her mother and I did. She has just started driving and can't wait till she can drive herself to the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center where she puts her acting skills to good use in roles ranging from captain, to ships doctor, to the enemy alien for the educational missions that are run there. Emily 13, David 11, Allison 9 and Andrew 7 are right on her heels with the number of activities they enjoy. Emily recently starred in her schools product of Hamlet, playing the role of Hamlet. We quickly dubbed the play "Emlet". All of our kids sing and play piano thanks to Tabitha's incredible skills at teaching music to squirmy short-attentioned and yet talented children. (My kids are in the talented group, not the squirmy short-attentioned group. Those would be the other parents' children :-))

Tabitha finally made her way back to the stage where she joins the ensemble of the upcoming production of, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at the SCERA in Orem. All the while I get to sit back and play the proud, happy husband and father as I bounce from choir and orchestra concerts, to plays and piano recitals and the like.

Our lives are not strictly music and theater, although its hard to tell that while visiting our home. I volunteer with the Utah County Sheriff's Office in their Emergency Communications group as a radio operator, and Tabitha and I both volunteer with the Timpanogos Emergency Response Team where we get to enjoy another family favorite - camping. We've camped in it all from blistering heat to driving wind and snow only to come out of it all closer as a family. Although there are many things that I could wish for (a diet worth sticking to for instance), I can not but be grateful for the tremendous life that I do have. A wonderful wife and kids, a wonderful home and many blessings scattered throughout my life.

I can't wait to catch up with many of you. As for the rest of you, I can't wait to see what kind of brain power it is going to take to remember who you are :-)! It should all be a blast.--gerald

Hello fellow Bulldogs! It has been fun reading about what you have all been up to the last 20 years.

After graduation I gathered up my stuff and moved to SLC to attend the University of Utah. After changing my major a few times, I finally settled on Exercise Physiology and graduated in 1994. While I was home for Thanksgiving in 1991, I gave an old friend who had just returned from his mission a call to catch up. 8 months later, in June of 1992, I married Ed Plummer (PHS ’88).

Putting that degree to good work, I got a job working for the US Postal Service and worked putting Ed through school as he got his BS and MBA from the U. Just to make it interesting we added 3 kids to the mix (Rian, 15; Samantha, 10 & Hank, 7). In 2001, after working for the USPS for 5 years and 2 years for eBay, I retired from the work force and became a stay at home mom.

In 2002, we began our new gypsy life as we follow my husbands career around the Northeast. We left Utah and moved to Manhattan. We had a wonderful 2 years there. We then headed off to Greensboro, NC for 3 years. Now we are back in the NYC suburb of Short Hills, NJ while my husband commutes into Manhattan for his job as a VP with American Express.

Like many of you, my days are filled with kids and their activities. I try to mix it up with running and projects around the house. I’m still a total nerd and always have my nose in a book.
I’m going to miss the reunion since we live in NJ and my kids are still in school. I hope you all have a wonderful time!

I look forward to seeing my Provo High School classmates at the reunion! I have thoroughly enjoyed your pictures and reading up on your lives. What a great group! My life since high school has been wonderful. I attended BYU and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English. While there I met my husband, Matthew Brown. He is my best friend and love of my life.

Shortly after we were married, we lived and studied in Jerusalem for a summer, then backpacked our way through Europe. This experience planted a traveling bug in both of us and we make efforts as often as we can to explore various parts of the world. After we graduated, Matt went to medical school at the University of Utah while I attended graduate school at BYU and received a master’s degree in English, with an emphasis in American Literature. I taught freshman English at BYU until we started our family. We have six beautiful children—Erika, Matthew, Mckenna, Caleb, Spencer, and Brooklyn—from ages 15 to two years old. I adore them and believe they are what life is all about.

We now live in Cedar Hills. Matt practices family medicine for Intermountain Health Care and I am a busy mom. My days are filled with soccer games, piano recitals, trips to the Dinosaur Museum, and assisting kids with homework (I’m loving the summer break). I occasionally teach Journal and Family History classes at BYU Education Week and have enjoyed this immensely. Free time is scarce, but when I have some I like running with Matt, eating Green Chile Chicken Salads at Bajio, reading the classics, 4-wheeling with my kids, and working on writing and editing projects. I look forward to catching up with you all and hope to see you at the reunion.

Let me reiterate what has been said before. 20 years? Has it really been 20 years!I look back on our Provo High days and have great memories. I don't know if that says much, since I have such a poor memory! :-)It's been really fun getting back in touch with everyone through Facebook and the blog, I look forward to seeing many of you this weekend.

Here's a little info about myself:

After graduating, I attended UVSC for a short time before leaving on an LDS mission to Caracas, Venezuela. I can honestly say I had a great mission. I returned home and found that my parents had moved from the Oak Hills area to the Grandview area in Provo. Somehow it slipped their mind to tell me until I was heading home from my mission.

I took a job and started going back to UVSC where I ended up graduating with two Associates degrees in Graphics and Commercial Arts. While attending UVSC, Omel Contreras convinced me to start attending his singles ward. There I met my beautiful wife, Rebecca Montano. We dated for a short while and were married January 12th, 1996. Shortly after getting married I started employment with Xactware in Orem, Utah. I was hired to create icons for their software, but on my second day of work they asked me to be part of the 3D Animation team.

Three weeks after getting married, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This was rather disappointing for Becky since her father is a type 2 diabetic and she was excited to finally eat sugar jello. Sorry sweetheart!

I've been with Xactware for 13 years now. I currently manage the production team in the marketing department. My team consists of a few very talented designers and an amazing web developer. We provide all of the design, web, video, audio, and multimedia needs of the company. Xactware has been such an incredible company to work for that it wasn't until fall of 2007 that I decided I wanted to go back to what is now UVU to finish getting my bachelors degree. I hope to have that wrapped up by summer of 2010.

I currently live in Spanish Fork, Utah with Becky and our 5 children, Lora age 12, Valerie age 8, Nicole age 6, Mitchell age 4, and our 17 month old Nathan. My family is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me!

And if you're curious, yes, I still enjoy doing magic and on occasion perform for birthday parties. I'll make sure to have some tricks up my sleeve at the reunion. Make sure to ask about the rubber bands.

After graduation, I started working for Provo Craft. In 1990 I went on an LDS mission to the Dominican Republic. I returned in 1992 to a newly opened supervisor position at Provo Craft; and began my life’s career--saving the world, one craft emergency at a time. Where would we be without Tole Painting, Scrapbooking, or the Sizzix and Cricut machines? I am now an Assistant Warehouse Manager. Work, and an on-again/off-again relationship with BYU, pretty much summed up my life until the early 2000’s. I graduated from BYU with a BA in History in 2000-something. I forget when it was.

In late 2002 I met my wife, Angel, at church services. Her husband of 14 years had left her and their three kids, Cameron (then 13), Lindsay (then 10), and Ian (then 7); so they moved from Salt Lake to Provo to live with her parents. She is very social, and we started talking while I managed the Bishop’s appointments—she had me trapped. I asked her out by mistake in November. By December we were talking about marriage. In late February we appealed to the First Presidency to have her previous sealing cancelled, and concluded that we would wait and see how that process worked its course, before setting an official wedding date. To our surprise, the cancellation was approved a few weeks later. So, we decided to elope to the Bountiful Temple that weekend, March 15, 2003!

Being a step parent can be difficult, but it is very rewarding at the same time. It’s the perfect second job because I am getting paid to do something I love. In December 2004 my first child, Samuel Forestal, was born. In 2007 my daughter Emily Meredith was born. The children have been really fun. Raising the little kids has been rather uneventful; except for the Provo City Police returning Sam home after a kind woman found him playing at the park across the street at age 2½; followed by him being hit by a car when he was 3. Sam’s scared of red cars now, but not strangers, firefighters, or police officers!

In my spare time I enjoy playing games with my children. Age of Empires II and Civilization III are favorites with the older kids. The younger kids like to play imaginary games where we cook, paint, and pretend we are animals in need of rescue. They also like Dinosaur rides—I plod along instead of galloping, and I’m way too slow to be a horse. =) Over the years, I have lost a lot of hair, gained a lot of weight, and created a ton of memories. I have really enjoyed reading everyone’s postings. If you haven’t posted yet, please do!

It seems like time has sped up for me as well, 20 years seems like we are getting old or something. I related to someone the other day..I used to take Tylenol after physical activity and got injured, 5-10 years ago I might of taken something in the middle of the day, if it was an all day project. Now I have to ask myself if I should be taking something before I start the activity. Sad, but true.

I am excited to see some old friends at the reunion. I didn’t fall too far from the family tree and landed in Vineyard (West Orem). So, still being a local I do see some of the alumni around at the stores and throughout town.

I continued my education at UVSC for a year, served in the St Louis Missouri Mission, came back to UVSC and was one of the first graduates with a Bachelors in Business Management, 1995. During college life, I meet my wife Johanna (AF-Cavewoman), married her in 1994. I was in sales, then management at Sears Auto Center for 6 years, and then in Jan 2000 I left retail (woo hoo) and worked at some local software companies for 1.5 years in marketing. After riding that rollercoaster, I went back to selling…in the closet industry for the last 8 years. Through the last year of economic woes, I came to the conclusion that I needed to take control and start my own closet company…so this Spring, I decided to jump off and brave the storm… I started a company called Cutting Edge Closets and Design, based here in Orem. So far, so good. Ask me at the 25 year reunion if it was a good decision. :-) haha.

We have lived here in Vineyard area for the last 12 years. After 15 years of marriage, we finally figured out that we could have children…Madi, 7yrs, Livi, 5yrs, and Cole 2yrs. We love them, even though sometimes there are sleepless nights and all kinds of body fluids to change and wipe. I guess they are keepers?

Back when I roamed the halls of Provo High as a skinny kid with big glasses, I never could have imagined my life as it is now. I converted to the LDS church at the age of 21 and seven years later I met my best friend and future wife, April, in a BYU singles ward. After attending the schools of the Wasatch Front: BYU, UVSC, U of U and finally Weber State. I found a career I had no qualms about getting out of bed and commuting too. I now work at the U of U Hospital Medical Lab as a Medical Technologist (in other words I work in a lab).

Now that I am finally done with school we recently moved to Eagle Mountain, UT to raise our family in. I am now the father of five great kids: Anna (8), Edison (6), Schafer (2), and our twins Gavin and Charlotte (9 months).

Thanks to everyone for putting together the blog and sending in their bio as I will not be able to attend the reunion, it has been great fun reading all the postings.

I began the first decade after Provo High School as a Banana Slug at the University of California, Santa Cruz. I intended to become a marine biologist, but I never did finish that degree because I found myself drifting toward other areas of study (or was it really that I could never understand the experiments in chemistry lab or didn’t want to tough out the laborious pre-requisites?). I eventually graduated with a degree in American Studies. Never heard of it? You are not the first. I also did a little traveling in Europe and served an LDS mission to Portugal. I married a tall, dark and handsome fellow Banana Slug, Ted Jeffries, in 1994. After graduating together from UCSC in 1995, we moved to Provo for Ted to start MBA school at BYU. I was very lucky to get a job teaching sixth grade at a private school (who knew that ambiguous interdisciplinary degree would actually come in handy!). I also completed a TESL certificate at BYU, and I have taught ESL off and on over the years.

During this last decade, I haven’t added any titles or degrees to my name, invented anything, started any companies or climbed any mountains (well actually, now that I think of it, I climbed Volcan Villarica in Chile and Mt. Taishan in China), but I have spent the entire decade in the roll of Mom with a few personal irons in the fire. I have four fabulous children -- Emma (11), Spencer (9), Kate (6) and Ellie Jane (10 months). I estimate I’ve opened and recycled at least 240 peanut butter jars, completed 5,200 loads of laundry, wiped 3,600 faces and/or noses, made 1,000 quesadillas and visited the Oregon Zoo probably 50 times. I have actually spent the entire decade living on the same street in Lake Oswego, Oregon! In the past few years, I have enjoyed a little more free time and have learned to golf. I have even dusted off my tennis racket. My life’s mantra is play before work – especially if it’s sunny! Well, here’s to hoping for another twenty years of good times and productivity for everyone – cheers!

Hello everyone. It has been great to read about your lives and accomplishments. I had no idea I was attending high school with such amazing people. As my mom likes to say, "if I'd have known how good my kids were going to turn out, I'd have been a lot nicer to them when they were growing up." Thanks to all of those who put this site together as well as the upcoming reunion. I look forward to attending.

After graduation, I attended BYU where I majored in English whilst playing b-ball for the mighty Cougars. In '90, I took a two year hiatus from my schooling and hoops and went on an LDS mission to Louisville, Kentucky. After graduation, I took the law school route and am now a practicing real estate attorney in Salt Lake at a firm called Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. As a side gig, I do the color commentary for BYU Basketball on KSL radio. In '95 I married Marilee Stratton. She is an Orem Tiger, but I didn't know that until it was too late. We have four children, George (12), Jordan (10), Dane (7) and Stratton (6 months). After having three boys, we had to take some time to work up the courage to try again for a girl but we were successful. Stratton is a wonderful addition to our home and is a pure joy.

My wife and I spend our time playing golf, doing yardwork and attending a never ending stream of our kids sports and schooling activities.

My sincere thanks to all of you for making high school a wonderful time for me. I realize this is the exception rather than the rule. I moved in right before freshman year and was received very warmly. Notwithstanding my joke above, I have always known I was attending high school with truly incredible people. I think fondly on our times together and look forward to the reunion and catching up.

Hey everyone! I also can't believe it has been 20 years! I don't feel that old until I stand next to my two oldest children. They are both taller than me so I must be that old!

I have been married to Warner Murphy for 16 years. We have five children, four boys and one girl- Mckay, 15, Taylor, 13, Jackson, 10, Payton, 7, and Cooper, 3. I spend most of my time managing kids. It is usually a great job. :) Most of our "free" time is spent playing or getting to and from a ball game or practice. There aren't many things I would rather do than watch my kids play (and preferably win, who likes losing?) any kind of sporting event. It takes a lot of time, but it's really a lot of fun. Our life is pretty busy, but simple. We like it that way.

We have settled down in Springville. We live in a fabulous neighborhood with lots of really great people, including several other Provo High grads. We love living here and don't even mind that we are Red Devils. We also love living so close to both of our families. We spend a lot of time with them and love every minute (ok most minutes.)

When I actually get to do my own thing, I really love reading, quilting, eating (why not just say it), and playing golf (although I'm still not sure if I actually like it).

I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I have really great memories of my high school days. It was such a fun time and that is thanks to so many of you. We really had such a great group of people. Hope everyone is doing well and I can't wait to catch up!

Hello all,

First off, we are well aware that a joint email account, joint facebook page and/or joint blog are socially unacceptable. We hope you will pardon our indiscretion. We are working parents of 3 small children and a dog and don’t have the energy or creativity to come up with two separate tales. Plus we share a life as well as the aforementioned 3 small children and a dog. It is highly likely that our two reports of life over the last 20 years might be somewhat redundant.

We were married in January 1994 and Melanie finished her degree at BYU in the Spring. Yes she was a BYU cheerleader. No she did not become a professional cheerleader as predicted at the end of our senior year. In the summer of ’94 we moved to Salt Lake so that Jeff could wrap up his degree at the U. After Jeff’s graduation we moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming where Jeff took a job as a sportscaster and we haven’t stopped moving since. After Wyoming, we moved to Redding, California and then Austin, Texas. We moved back to the Sugarhouse area of Salt Lake almost four years ago.

Jeff has had an amazing career as a sportscaster. You can catch him most weekends on Fox 13. Biggest perks so far include:
- On the field for a 49ers game and a Raiders game all in the same day.
- On the field for the Superbowl in Houston. (Up close and personal for Janet’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction.”)
- Covering the Longhorns during their College World Series and Rose Bowl victories. (Hook ‘em Horns!)
- And, most recently, courtside Jazz vs. Lakers at the playoffs in L.A.

Biggest cons so far include:
- Too many weekends and holidays spent at work.
- Having to take off makeup after a long day at work.

Melanie’s career has been decidedly less interesting, but slightly more stable. She has worked at ADP in the Benefits Division for the last 15 years. She is currently managing about a dozen Project Managers in the Implementation group. Anyone PMP certified and looking for a job?

Our three children are a sometimes enchanting and sometimes horrifying reflections of both of us. Mia is almost 9 and will be starting the fourth grade. Maximus is 5 and will be starting kindergarten this Fall. Talia is 2 and would be starting to get on our nerves if those big blue eyes and curly blonde locks weren’t so adorable. They are a loud and boisterous and fun and creative crew.

In our free time we love to travel and explore. In the last few years as our family has grown and the proximity to Southern California has shrunk, we find ourselves more and more often at Disneyland. The attached pics are from a few of our most recent trips and a tubing excursion last winter.

Someday we hope to write books, host a cooking show, produce a major motion picture, be contenders on “Dancing with the Stars,” run a wildly successful company, and see our kids grow into wonderful and well-adjusted adults. For right now, we are happy and healthy and looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

Holy Cow - has it already been 20 years? Here is a brief summary of the last 20:

- Went to BYU (shocker).
- Served an LDS mission in Portland Oregon.
- Returned to BYU and taught at the Missionary Training Center.
- Graduated with a BA in Communications.
- Worked for the Pinnacle Music Group (Kurt Bestor) for 7yrs. I was a concert and tour coordinator, Kurt's personal assistant, and had too many other jobs to list. I had a great and challenging experience. Traveled fun places and met wonderful and interesting people.
- Met my husband (Ken) when I lived in Midvale, UT. He was dating someone in my singles ward (oops) and investigating the church. Our first date was in October 1998, second date in January (long story), engaged in April and married in the Salt Lake Temple (the day after the tornado touched down in SLC) August 12, 1999.
- 2 yrs. after our wedding, our first baby was born (Alec 7) and 2 weeks later we left for Michigan where my husband accepted a job in Sturgis as an assistant Principal in a Middle School.
- 18 months later, Mikaela (6) was born.
-After 2 yrs. we decided to move a bit closer to Ken's family, so relocated to Lapeer, Michigan. Ken served as a assistant Principal of Oxford High School for three years and then moved to the Middle School to become the Principal.
- Since moving to Lapeer, our family has grown by 2 more, (McKenna 4 and Ian 2).

During these past 20yrs. I have been able to perform in a few community Theater plays (Scera Shell's "Joseph and His Amazing Technicolored Dream Coat," and Hale Center Theater's "Jane Eyre"). I have been a part of the Oxford Women's Chorus, and have done a bit of free lance singing for receptions etc. For the past three years, I have been in leadership positions for the Mother's of Preschoolers(MOPS)in our area, and am always busy with church service (who isn't?), my family and friends. I am married to a fabulous man and have 4 wonderful children. I am happy where I am. :) The next 20 years promise to be an even greater adventure!
Our Utah trip isn't scheduled until July so I will not be able to see you at the reunion. But, I will see you on facebook. :) Lets keep in touch.

Fellow Bulldawgs, it's a difficult task to sum up 20 years in a few short sentences without it reading like a resume, but here goes:

€ I moved to Texas in the summer of 1989 right after high school.
€ While living among the kind folks in Texas I decided to attend university and attended Texas Tech University, receiving my BFA in Art/Design.
€ After graduating I moved to Dallas where I have lived for the past 13+years (with a short stint in the Reno/Tahoe area)
€ I have worked in both the creative agency side as well as the big corporation side
€ I am a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a true "team player" seeking a synergistic working environment (not really,but I had to throw that in this bulleted list)
€ I met my wife Andrea (a small town Texas girl) while in Dallas (she is also Texas Tech alum) and we were married in 2001
€ In 2003 I jumped out of the corporate shtick and started my own marketing/creative consulting company and have been doing that since. We handle every facet of marketing, creative, and enterprise web development for primarily the tech/telecommunications sector.
€ We have two beautiful daughters Josie (3) and Lily (1.5) and have no further plans to add to our complement
€ In my free time I try not to work
€ We love living in Texas, it gets pretty hot here, but it's home and we love it
€ I have been blessed beyond measure

Several months ago, I found myself in the halls of Provo High! I was amazed at how much it has changed in the last twenty years. The Library is now the main office, the main office of our day is now the counseling center. A new library has been built where the math trailers once were…needless to say, it is very different. As I am sure most of us have changed; some of us weigh more (or less), some have less hair (or its turning gray), we drive our own cars…A lot has changed!

Shortly after graduation, I started my college education at BYU. My sophomore year in college I was accepted in the Sports Medicine program. I have had a lot of great experiences working with different athletes and athletic teams.

In June of 1992, just prior to my senior year, I decided to serve a mission. I was called to San Jose, Costa Rica. It was an amazing experience! I returned home on Dec. 23rd , 1993, two weeks later I was back at the “Y” ready to finish my degree. That summer and fall I was the head senior student trainer with the football team. It was very time consuming as well as a lot of fun.

After graduating in 1995 in Athletic Training, I started working in West Valley at a Physical Therapy Clinic and with an Orthopedic Surgeon. Part of my job also included covering the athletic teams at Granger High School (8yrs.) and teaching a Sports Medicine class (2yrs.) The time I spent at the High School was great, I worked with a lot of good kids and became a second mom to many. I still work with the same Orthopedic Surgeon one day a week to stay sane (JK), and keep up on my skills.

Matt:

After stumbling through a year at BYU I served a mission in Frankfurt, Germany. It was a great two years in a very wonderful and beautiful place. Following my mission I returned to BYU. After what seemed to be ages I earned a Bachelors (’96) and a Masters degree (’97) in Civil Engineering.

I started working for Parsons Brinckerhoff in Salt Lake City where I still work today. I have mostly worked in project management on large transportation projects such as the I-15 Reconstruction, the University and Medical Center light rail projects, and the FrontRunner North commuter rail project. I am currently the project director of the FrontRunner South project which will run from Salt Lake to Provo.

Our Family:

One year after I returned from my mission I ran into Matt at one of my brother’s Rec. basketball games (he was working for the city). We began dating in Jan. 1995; we were engaged in May, and married in Aug. 11, 1995. We figured there was no need for a long engagement since we had know each other since kindergarten!:)

In 2000, after years of trying to have children, we were blessed with our first daughter, Megan (8), then a son, Drew (6), and finally another girl, Kendall (3). Megan and Drew are carbon copies of Matt (strawberry blond hair and freckles), Kendall is our little Blondie. They all have a lot of energy and are great kids.

We built our home in Highland in 2002. We love the area and don’t plan on going anywhere! We enjoy living close to our extended family and having cousins nearby. I spend my time balancing church callings, part time Athletic Training work, exercising, volunteering at school, and running kids to soccer, swimming, piano, and baseball. Matt still squeezes in some golf between work, the Salt Lake Commute, church callings and home projects. Our family loves to spend time at the Barker ranch in Idaho, the Carter cabin at Strawberry Reservoir, at Lake Powell, in Park City, and attending or participating in sporting events. We look forward to seeing many of you at the reunion and will miss those who are unable to attend.

I am happily married to my husband Clint of 12 years. We have 3 kids, Zachery Johnson 18, Tyler Golding 17, and Samantha Johnson 10. We live in West Valley.

Since graduating high school I got my Associate degree in Accounting. I have had a few jobs over the years but have been Working for Brown-Strauss Steel for the last 11 years.

I juggle work and family the best I can. I love scrapbooking and taking pictures for my kids and their friends.

Hello PHS Friends!

I married Debbie Nielsen 17 years ago after going on a mission to Guatemala. We both graduated from BYU a few years later. I went into teaching and Deb stayed home with the kids. After teaching a few years in Provo I went into administration and currently am the principal of Art City Elementary in Springville. We moved from Grandview Hill to Springville 3 years ago.

We are living the dream with our great children: Elsie (14), Bryce (12), Owen (9), Abbie (7), Lydia (5) and Spencer (2).

Thanks to all involved in planning the reunion. I look forward to seeing everyone.

It has been a wonderful 20 years. I always tell my wife that I would do 18 again and go back to high school. I have such great memories of Provo High and it is always fun to watch movies from the era and just laugh. I love 16 Candles and Better off Dead. Love the music as well, had a chance to see Depeche Mode, Erasure, and Duran Duran a few years back and I broke out the sock tie, tucked it into my shirt, and broke out the lighter to ask for an encore. My wife thinks I am a bit nuts.

After High school, I had a younger brother Matt pass away from Cancer. He passed away on Dec 31 1989, which was really a ruff time for me.He was a sophomore at PHS, so there are many a times, even now I think about my brother. We nick named him "The Colt" , so I understand how life can be cut short, so we need to live life to the fullest. I left 3 weeks later to serve a Mission in London, England and returned and attended BYU.

While attending BYU, I lived at the Palace, Ivy Tower, and Stake Dances trying to find some social acceptance. I thought I could find happiness, but as the night came to a close and you are rocking to the music, I think you get a little night drunk and your defenses start to drop. The ladies in the house get more attractive, you start the socializing, and then reality sets in when the lights turn on. You take inventory, check for car keys, and make a quick dash home to take a quick shower and wait in bed till your hearing comes back vowing never to return.......but you always do.

I met my wife, Emily through a blind date, 1990's version of eHarmony. We met in Jan 1996, proposed in April, and closed the deal in July.We have never looked back and are incredibly happy. I received a job moving out the the Bay Area, CA where we lived in Mountain View for 6years. Had some kids, moved back to Highland, Utah where we had some more kids. We have 2 Boys 2 Girls with one on the way. Occupation wise, I still own a bookstore and cafe in Provo, but on a day to day I spend all my time starting a software company called Boostability.

Looking forward to seeing you all, if the DJ is taking request for music I would like them to play Richard Marx "Hold on to the Night".Nothing better being amongst friends, drinking Kool aid, and dancing with the person you came with. See you soon.

I am looking forward to catching up with each of you; I also hope everyone is able to attend. I haven’t seen or talk to anyone in quite some time so I am looking forward to this event.

After graduation I served a mission in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was a great time. After the mission I attended BYU. I was fortunate to play football. Unfortunately, they didn’t like my athleticism so they told me I needed to be a lineman. During 90 lbs of weight gain, I had a great football experience at BYU. My last game was the 1996 Cotton Bowl, which was awesome at the time. The problem is now, it is beginning to sound like the 84 National Championship team or when they invented helmets in the 30s.

While at BYU I graduated with a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Public Administration. I also met and married Gale Oborn, who was a BYU All-American volleyball player.

After college I had a brief, very brief, football experience with the Kansas City Chiefs. I then went on to get a real job, and try to drop some weight. My professional life has finally brought me to Temecula, CA where I own my own commercial insurance agency. I don’t think I will be leaving the socialist republic of California and I don’t plan on leaving my business that I started a couple years ago. We are very happy here.

Gale and I have had 4 daughters, Morgan and Elizabeth (8), Anna (5), and Kate (2). Luckily they look like their mother. They are a lot of fun and keep me very busy.

About 6 years ago I went through testicular cancer. We were very blessed and things have worked out positively with my annual follow-ups. Other than that life is pretty normal. I just wish I had more hair on my head, and less of a gut.

Where has the time gone? I thought we would be young forever! I never thought we would be 20 years out of high school; let alone writing about it....

My life has been great so far, with hopeful continuance. After high school, I went to a trade school, to become a dental assistant. I liked it so much, I decided to go to real college. I decided to go to Weber in Ogden to become a dental hygienist. I finished with my bachelors in dental hygiene. While going to school, I met a great guy. One who could put up with all my inconsistencies. I needed someone who could handle what I dished out ( as some of you know, I can dish it out). Anyway, he was perfect for me. We married in 1991. And we are still going strong. It looks as though, he was meant to handle more than just one hot tempered female because he got four more. All girls!!! They are 16,10,8,and 4. They are a handful, very much like their mother. We have a lot of fun- with all the estrogen- in our home. We are up to our elbows in cat fights and emotional crying fests (especially when watching a good tear jerking movie). But it is all in good fun and worthwhile!!! They are great girls!

During all the busyness (is that a word) of having a family. We ended up settling down in Lindon, Utah. Not very far from home. We wanted to raise our kids near home. Then my husband and I decided to open a dental office for me to run. It went so well, that we thought one office wasn't busy enough. We are now in the process of opening our sixth dental office. This keeps me and my husband very busy. Sometimes too busy. We like to slow it down sometimes and just have some fun. So we take the family and we get away. I did have the opportunity to visit my home in Guam. I haven't been there since I was six. My family and I attended a huge family reunion there. It was a vacation of a lifetime. I was lucky to be able to attend.

I still cannot believe it has been 20 years. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. To reminisce about all the high school fun. I sure have been remembering lately, all of my fond memories of good friends and good times. Cannot wait to see everyone. See you at the reunion.

I officially feel old doing this. These 20 years seem like a blink of an eye.

I saw several of you at the 5 year reunion, when I was just finishing my Bachelors degree in Human Biology at the University of Utah. I married Zach in 1993, my best friend and still wonderful husband after 16 years! Graduated from med school from the U in 1999. Went to University of Arizona in Tucson for more torture--oops I mean surgery residency, and finished in 2004.

The best day of my life was March 15, 2005 when my daughter Darielle was born. She has changed everything, and I don't know how I lived without her, now she's here.

I stayed on staff at U of A for 2 years, torturing (oops, I mean teaching,) other residents. Zach and I thought it would be nice to come home again, so in August of 2006 we moved back to Utah county. We currently live in Highland. Darielle gets cuter by the day. Zach is an awesome stay at home dad, and road bikes on a professional level. I am juggling my busy general surgery practice with being a wife and mother. My second homes are Timpanogos and American Fork Hospitals.

Zach will be out of town at another bike race, but my sister and I will be at dinner. Hope to see many of you there!!

Wow it's hard to belive that 20 years has gone by. After graduation I spent a year at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho with two of my highschool pals Tiffany Thelin and Lynette Mckinnon. I couldn't have asked for better roomies, we had a awesome time. None of us returned the previous year. I was attending the previously known Utah Valley State College when I was accepted into the Radiology program at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

The second year into my radiology training I married my wonderful husband Dan Wayman from South Jordan, Utah. We were married in June of 1993 and moved to Riverton, Utah. I graduated the next year with an Associate degree in radiological science. I worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for about a year until the commuting just got to be too much. I got a job in Murray at the Intermountain Spine Institute and worked there for approximately seven years. I guess you could call it the seven year itch and I was bored with my job and wanted a change. I decided to advance my skills and persue a career in cardiac ultrasound. I attended Weber State University an became an registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer ( RDCS) in 2002. I got a job at the LDS hospital where I worked until the new Intermountain Medical Center in Murray opened last year, where I am now currently employed.

I enjoy staying active with hiking, biking and skiing. I play on a county recreation volleyball and softball team. I spend alot of time at the racetrack helping my husband with his passion for drag racing.

Dan and I struggled with unfertility problems throughout our marriage and then suddenly last year we were extremly blessed with the oportunity to adopt a beautiful two year old girl named Annaliese. She came into our home in June of 2008 and we offically adopted her on Dec. 19, 2008. Ever since then our world has been turned upside down and we are loving every minute of it.
I am looking forward to catching up with all of you at the reunion. See you soon.

So – 20 years. Really how do you sum that up in a short blurb? So many things to talk about - so little space and attention span. Guess I’ll just give it a shot.

I headed up to Utah State with the intention of going into communicative disorders. I’d AP’d out of all the math requirements for that major, and had thought I’d be happy never having to take another math class. I had one quarter under my belt and was home for Christmas break. I’d gone over to Christian Faulconer’s house one evening and was sitting on the couch listening to his calculus study group discussions. My mind was salivating! I knew I’d selected the wrong major.

I returned to Logan in January and switched to Civil Engineering. Spent a couple of years figuring out that I really didn’t care whether I was supposed to use an H-beam or an I-beam, that concrete slump and fluid head weren’t something I was willing to lose sleep over (although concrete can be crafted into a wicked canoe), and that I loved chemistry. So – middle of my junior year, I switched to Environmental Engineering. LOVED IT!

Back in that CommD quarter, one of my roommates had introduced me to this guy she’d gone to high school with. He was playing football at USU, and I have to be honest that I wasn’t very interested in football players. January 92 I found out a guy in my research writing class lived with Football (who had just returned from his Honolulu HI mission 2 days before the semester started). Funny how those things work… I started dating Jon in October 92, and we were married in July 93.

After I graduated in 94 we moved to Salt Lake. Jon transferred to the U, and I got a job working as an assistant over-the-counter buyer at Smiths Food & Drug. (I loved that job…) That was about the time that the fed government had closed down for a few days to save some $ - wasn’t a great time to be job hunting.

May 96 I finally got hired as an air quality contractor at Hill AFB. We bought our first house in Nov 96 and were blessed with our first son (Carson – soon to be 12) in August 97.

March 98 I went to work for Montgomery Watson, where my projects included underground storage tanks (USTs) at Hill AFB and the Ensign Bickford explosives plant in Spanish Fork Canyon. Son 2 (Evan – now 9) graced us with his presence May 2000. I didn’t return to MW after maternity leave. I headed to CH2M Hill.

I’ve been at CH for almost 9 years. I’ve done USTs, groundwater monitoring, analytical data management (this is where my love of chemistry resurfaced), and NEPA (writing Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements). I’ve been fortunate to work with the Air Force, Army, National Guard, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Forest Service, BLM, and UDOT. Throw another agency at me – I’ll be happy to take them on.

August 02 we got a phone call just as we were walking through the door following our ward campout. My mom had decided to get married. Finally! After 26 years of being single. Problem was that they’d decided to do it that night in Vegas. We showered, dumped the camping gear, and got back on the road - arrived with 20 minutes to spare. Mom was married in the Little White Wedding Chapel – missed the Elvis impersonating officiator by 10 minutes. It’s not a great feeling to be walking into a drive-through chapel with 5- and 2-year old sons not knowing what your mother’s new last name is going to be. Not to be overshadowed was walking through the Bellagio at 3 am with our kids to share a wedding um – breakfast? - with 2 of my 6 step-siblings and my new step-dad. Wouldn’t have missed it for anything.

Son 3 (Griffin – now 5) arrived in Mar 04. He gets his own paragraph because there’s just something about the kid that makes him his own guy.

Back in the time that the real estate market was hopping, our house sold in 4 days. We ended up living with my in-laws for a few months while we remodeled our home in West Jordan. It’d been a rental and was inhabited by up to 14 men (number varies according to which neighbor is telling the story). The place needed a little TLC. (Mark Relph (I can still see him with his rocker hair, but he looks amazing as a bald guy) is in my ward – found that out at another ward campout – what is it about those things?)

So – I’m married to Jon Hill. I work at CH2M Hill where the majority of my work has been at Hill AFB, and I live on Uinta Hills Drive.

I married Chuck Bennion (Class of 85) in the summer of 1990. Two years later we headed off to Washington D.C. for Chuck to attend law school at George Washington University. There I did my final work in student teaching for my elementary education degree. I graduated from BYU in December 1992. I then worked in Senator Bennett's office for two and a half years while Chuck went to school. I loved working there. I made many friends and gave tours of the Capitol to people visiting from Utah.

I had my first daughter, Hannah, in 1994, in Washington, D.C. After Chuck graduated we moved to Carson City Nevada for a year while he worked as a law clerk for the Nevada Supreme Court. We then moved to Las Vegas in 1996, where we have lived since. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas I had my first son, Charles. He was followed by Katherine, Amanda, Wlliam, and 10 months ago Samuel.

The past 14 years have been full of raising my six children and I have loved it. The preganancies are killer, but the product has been worth it. We have also had two foreign exchange students from Yemen live in our home. They were sisters, Yasmin and Nesreen, and they each stayed with us separately for a full school year. They are like our daughters. It was fun to learn about their culture and religion. Their family is in the process of trying to immigrate to the U.S. We currently have a "domestic exchange student," one of the players from the AAU basketball team Chuck coaches. He is a 6'3" 12 year old who struggled with academics. He has lived with us this semester and been a part of our family. He is also not a member of our faith, but has enjoyed participating in our traditions. So it seems our family never stops growing! Hannah is now 14, Charles 12, Kate 10, Amanda 7, William 4 and Samuel 10 months.

Even though we live far from Provo, our kids are all Bulldogs. Whenever we go back to Provo to visit my family we make sure to drive by Provo High and we all sing the fight song. It is a fun family tradition.

I still enjoy swimming, and do my best to swm a mile a couple of times a week. Thank heaven for family who is able to help! Chuck, a former cross-country and track runner, does his best to get me running, but I have yet to catch that vision. However, I did my first triathlon two years ago at Lake Powell, and I will be running the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay, so I am giving running the college try!

So I guess it is time for me to do my recap of the last 20 years. I have been reading all of yours and enjoying it so much but not really feeling like taking the time to write mine yet. So today is the day folks so....I guess I will do a run down chronologically and with pictures.

After graduation I headed off to Rick College and was roommates with Diann Lott and Lynette McKinnon. We had a blast that year and rocked dorm 4! I participated in the theater program and thought I wanted to be an actress. I almost got married that year, but did not want to be cliche and marry as an 18 yr old, so instead I transferred to BYU still majoring in Theater. I lived in the dorms again, and later became an RA at Deseret Towers. I changed majors many times and finally settled on Psychology with a Minor in Youth Leadership and Recreation Management and graduated with my BS.

Before graduating I served and LDS mission in Catania, Italy and love love loved it.

I worked with my mother doing the PHASE Program for the Provo School District for 10 yrs. During that time I also worked as a counselor in residential treatment facilities.

In 1999 I moved to Portland, Oregon and pursued my Masters in Social Work. I worked as a a residential treatment counselor as well. I met and married my sweet hubby, Joseph, during graduate school.

I was married in the Portland Oregon Temple just before my 30th birthday.

After graduation I worked in community mental health as a Child and Family therapist and worked toward my therapy license. I had my first Daughter, Jerika, two years after getting married.

We later started doing foster care and adopted two lovely girls, Jacqueline and Jennedy. I had my son, Trenton shortly there after. I had four children under five with another foster baby who was an infant. We did this for 11 months when the foster baby went back to his mom. That was just a month ago so now I have just four children.

I got a my LCSW and quit community mental health to start my private practice and that is what I do now.

Every day is and adventure, I love this crazy life I lead. I am so sad I wont be able to make the reunion, there are so many of you that I want to see. I hope you all have a wonderful time.

Where did 20 years go? I really can't believe I'm having to recap the last 20 years! I don't know where it all went.

Well I'll try to summarize it quickly. After high school I went up to Ricks college for a year and loved it. I regret not going up for the 2nd year. As some of you know our senior year I was dating a Timpview graduate.(You can see me in the year book with a timpview lettermans jacket on!!) Anyway, while I went to Ricks he went on a mission to Japan. We wrote the whole time. We were in love before he even left. So the second year of his mission I came back from Ricks and went to Dental Assisting school and worked as a Dental Assistant for 7 years and loved it. So when my best friend came home from his mission we were engaged 5 months later and then married 8 months after that! It has been a blissful 17 years! He went to BYU and I worked so we could pay for it! He graduated in Education and taught high school for 31/2 years. During which we had our first born son. 18 months after him we found out some exciting news that we were expecting twins!! Oh boy, we didn't know how we were going to afford two at the same time for the rest of our lives so my husband decided to get out of education. He found a better job that would also pay for more education. So he went back to school and got his MBA while I had a 21/2 year old boy and identical twin girls! I shudder when I think about those times. It was hard but we seemed to get through it. We had built a little starter home in Lehi by Micron and loved the area. When our little twins were 2 years old we got the hardest news. Our one little twin Maddie was diagnosed with a childhood cancer called Nueroblastoma. Then our world turned into a whirlwind. It was right after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and it really felt like the end of my world or the world in general. She had chemo that didn't do anything and so we made the decision to take her across the country to the world famous pediatric surgeon in New York at Sloan Kettering Memorial hospital in Manhattan. She had a tumor in her abdomen the size of a large grapefruit and he removed it for her and saved her life. That was 7 years ago!! She is our miracle child. Right after we got back from New York, I knew it was time to get our last child here. So we had our youngest son a year later! So no wonder 20 years flies by. I am a stay at home mom, that works part time at my kids school as a reading aide. We built our 2nd home just up from Cabella's in Lehi and my husband is a logistics specialist for GE Healthcare. We have tried to leave Utah to experience something new but have never gotten the opportunity. But we also LOVE our ward and friends and family that surround us.

I'm very nervous to see you all at the Dinner but it should be fun. I hope I can recognize people and people recognize me. 20 years does alot to ya! So hope to see many of you at the dinner party!!

Hello All! What a great 20 years it has been! I can't possibly explain the last twenty years with the detail they deserve, but I will try to give you the quick version! I started at BYU right after graduation where I majored in Elementary Education. After a couple of years of school I took 18 months off to serve in the Portugal, Porto mission. I came back to BYU and finished my schooling just as a principal from East Los Angeles county came looking for bilingual teachers. I started teaching in California in July 1995 where I taught in a bilingual classroom for 3 years. After my first year of teaching I married Brian Hall who was stationed at a near by Air Force Base. I then became a military wife and have proudly worn that title for 13 years. In 1996 we had our first son, Trevor. I transfered to teach kindergarten out on the Air Force base and we had a very comfortable life. Little did we know that we were in for a great adventure by welcoming two babies at once into our home in May 2001. Gavin and Bailey have been a joy. Having twins was a great blessing! We stayed in California for 7 years and I continued to teach school but then the Air Force decided it was time for a change and we recieved, what turned out to be, our dream assignment. In June 2003 we moved to Anchorage, Alaska and loved every minute of it. We hiked, fished, hunted, camped and spent as much time as possible enjoying the Last Frontier. We enjoyed the -45 degree weather in the winter, and the midnight sun of the summers. Our assignment there came to and end too quickly and in 2007 we relocated again, to McConnell AFB, Kansas. Here we are adjusting to the great plains, and the many deployements that keep Brian in the middle-east for a good portion of each year. We will be proudly sending him off on his second deployment this summer. We feel blessed to have the Air Force as such an important part of our lives. Currently I am teaching third grade at the Air Force Base school, my children are now 11 and 8 years old, and keep us busy between dance, sports, scouts and music lessons. We look forward to becoming reaquainted with each of you in a few weeks!

So you guys and gals want to know what I’ve been up to for the past couple decades...

Well... for starters I became an Olympic sharpshooter, conquered the stock market, and mastered the art of exaggerating at the beginning of my bio’s.

What did I really do? I ventured into fire science schooling. The plan was to work as a paramedic for the fire department while I attended medical school to become a cardiologist. Also, “Fire Science School” just sounds cool. “Fire Science”... are you really going to mess with a guy who’s studying that? It sounds like I’m learning how to conjure fireballs like a young, 1980’s Drew Barrymore.

Now, see up there where I said it was my “plan” to become a cardiologist? Yeah, that’s because what really ended up happening was me shipping off to Santiago, Chile to finally answer the LDS mission call I had been putting off in order to take care of family. I served as AP to the president of the mission, and enjoyed it so much that I stayed for four extra months beyond my completion. The president was finally actually ordered to send me home. We were both heartbroken.

I returned to the states, and opened my own mortgage company: work at home, great hours, and boring... boring... boring. So what was young Keith to do? (Besides refer to himself in the third person to sound dramatic.) I turned my eyes west, where an old, childhood aspiration still laid. Hollywood. I would be... an actor!

Packing up, I moved to Pasadena, CA where I purchased a condo and enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Graduating, I began work immediately as a paid theater actor. I did several independent films, which even I have never seen, so I doubt anyone else has. I also had a short stint on General Hospital.

Despite all the work, money was still tight, so I snagged a job in automotive marketing. As fate would have it, I now may actually enjoy the marketing job more than my acting (or maybe it’s just all the traveling I get to do). Last year, I spent over 250 days on the road. I guess I’m a nomad at heart, because I just can’t get enough of it. Currently, I am Associate Producer for the training and launch of the new Mercedes Benz E-Class.

I made a pact with Tim Doll last year to attend our 20 year reunion, and I will indeed be there.

I have never been married, and don’t have any children. Life has been great as a bachelor, but I’m ready to settle down. I have a lovely girlfriend, and between you and me, we may just be tying the knot soon.

Hello to all my fellow grads out there! It’s been fun to read through all the blogs here and see all the amazing things everyone has been up to. The 20 year reunion snuck up on me somehow, but it will fun to see everyone there. After high school I decided to get right into some college classes to get a jump on a degree. That turned out to be a little ironic since I dropped out later on and I didn’t end going back and getting that degree until 2002, but I’m getting ahead of myself already. I took a few classes at UVSC and then transferred to BYU. After a year there I went on a mission for the LDS church, to a Spanish speaking mission in Ventura, California. It was a great experience and I loved learning Spanish and meeting people from all over the Spanish speaking world.

When I got home in the summer of 1992 I returned to school at BYU and I met my future wife and best friend Kayleen who is from Minnesota. She was roommates in Salt Lake City with her cousin who was a friend of mine so we met through her cousin. We started dating, got engaged that Thanksgiving and we were married the next spring. When that school year at BYU was done we moved to California so I could work in real estate as a loan officer and make some money for school. While living there our first daughter Valerie was born. After a year of trying that I found it wasn’t as good of a money making opportunity as we had hoped so we moved back to Utah.

I started working in a call center in Ogden and worked my way up to be a sales supervisor. I worked with that company for 4 years in Ogden and then in Logan. While we lived in those areas our other two daughters Samantha and Alyssa were born. When then decided to move to the Duluth Minnesota area where my wife grew up and her parents still had a dairy farm. I worked as a training manager for a sales company there and enjoyed that area a lot except for the winter months. After a year there we moved back to the Provo area.

I decided it was time to get serious about a college degree again so I started night classes at the University of Phoenix for an Information Systems degree while working during the day. Luckily, a friend at school gave me the idea to start work as a software tester and I was able to get work testing web pages for online auto insurance. I worked testing software for different companies while finishing my degree and liked the work so much I’ve stayed with it. We lived in Davis County while I was in school and we now live in Lehi, UT. I’ve been working with Raytheon for 5 years now and I’m currently a team lead for a testing team there. My wife is now a certified EMT and is looking forward to more medical training. Our daughters now 15, 13 and 11 all love soccer and we keep busy getting them to the games and practices and cheering them on. I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

Hello my old (no intentional reference to our already oft-mentioned age) friends. Oy, how to sum up the last 20 years with wit and style? The kids just left the building and my thoughts are already on to next year, so I figured I'd better get to this now before I close shop here.

After our PHS graduation, I went to BYU where I majored in History and Biology teaching. I had the overwhelming opportunity to study history in the Middle East for a semester and was able to serve a mission in Germany. Upon returning from there, my heart was drawn more towards keeping that language alive than in dissecting frogs and collecting bugs and mold specimens. I changed my minor to German and fortuitously walked into a History and German teaching position at Spanish Fork High School just after I graduated from BYU. I've spent the last 13 years at SFHS teaching history and German, coaching girls basketball and softball and advising the student government. I went back to school in 2000 and completed a Masters in Education degree. It's been a wild, crazy, fun ride here, with highlights that have to include the opportunity to travel with students to Europe. Chaperoning small town kids in the beer halls of Munich...priceless! The pinnacle of this chapter in my life has been being named at Teacher Fellow for the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC, with the charge to help other teachers more effectively teach students about the Holocaust and genocide today.

In the past few months I was hired on as the Social Studies Department Chair and Mentor teacher at Maple Mountain High School, a new school opening up on the Spanish Fork-Mapleton border. I also took that big girl step and purchased a house in this little Spanish Fork farm town, where the only thing bigger than the trucks is still the hair. I get my regular kicks performing and competing with the local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, and am headed to Nashville in October to compete with them on the International stage. Yup, I'm pretty much happy as a clam and have a wonderful life.

I'm hoping to make it to the picnic to laugh with everyone at our graying and receding hairlines.Hope you're all taking care of you and your's-

Hello everyone from the good ol' days! I wasn't able to come to the 10 year reunion when I was living in Alabama and so it's been a long time since I've seen many of you. Life has certainly been busy the past 20 years, but I'm just trying to enjoy the ride. I attended BYU after high school and graduated in Exercise Physiology. I served a mission to the Philippines. I met my wife Janette, from South Jordan, at BYU and we were married in 1994. We went off to Birmingham, Alabama and I went to physical therapy school at Univ of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Janette went to nursing school. I worked as a PT in Huntsville, AL for three years and we had our first baby here, Mikayla. She is 9 now. After moving back to Utah in 2000 we had two more girls, Jaimi (8) and Brooke (6), and then two boys Kameron (4) and Kevin (2). We live in Heber, which we love. Between Heber and Park City there are so many places to bike, hike, camp, ski, fish, and explore, and so we try to get outside and enjoy the area we live in. The kids are busy with soccer, clogging, piano, basketball, and chasing Kevin, our two year old. He is an escape artist from the house or backyard right now. He will somehow escape the premises, let our big black lab/retriever Bo out of the backyard, and then the two of them will roam the neighborhood together. We often get calls from neighbors that they have seen him down at the neighborhood park or in an empty lot playing in the dirt with our dog. I hope he lives to adulthood! I have a PT clinic in Park City and enjoy working in the sports medicine/fitness arena. I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion!Preston Hall

I have enjoyed reading the posts to the Class of ‘89 Blog and hope many more of you will post.

My husband Mark and I have been married almost 16 years and for the last 4 years we have lived in Springville. We have three daughters, Madison (13), Alexis (11) and Bailey (8). It seems like I spend most of my time running kids to and from soccer, dance and other activities. When not on a soccer field or at a dance rehearsal, I run a small accounting practice out of my home and try to squeeze in an occasional round of golf.

Life has been very good to us as I am sure it has been for all of you. I look forward to catching up with many more of you at the reunion in June.

I don't know about the rest of you but I have these spaces of time that are blurry. I don't know if my mind isn't working or if it's actually protecting me from something scary. In all seriousness I remember enough to share a few highlights of the past 20 years. After graduating I spent the first year and a half helping my parents manage The Silver Fox Campground. It no longer exists and I believe there is now a Home Depot in that location. It was something to pass time and pay for anything I wanted to do.

After we broke away from there I went to Mary Kawakami Cosmetology school on center street(which I believe is no longer there either!). I finished with school, got my license, and started working at Command Performance in November of '91. I spent a long seven months working there before I quit to go on a mission. July of '92-Jan. of '94 I was in the Massachusetts, Boston Mission. It was a fabulous time of my life. And the best part of my mission came when I came home and found out that one of my good friends from the mission field was going to school at UVSC in preparation to transfer to BYU. His name: Troy Kingsford of Newbury Park, Calif. Within two months of being home I was engaged and married in Sept. '94. I always have cut hair for family and friends, but with a husband to put through school I found a job with better pay and better benefits at MegaDiamond in Provo. I worked there for five years while Troy got his Masters of Accountancy at BYU and we had our first two children. Emily, 12(Nov.'96) and Rachel,10(March '99). In June of '99 we moved to Mesa, Arizona. My husband got his first job with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Phoenix. We lived in Mesa for the next 8 years before we made a big jump to Gilbert, Az. Just south of Mesa. We almost melt every summer, but somehow we make it through and enjoy every minute of the perfect winter weather. We have added four more children to the mix here in Az. Robert-71/2(Oct.'01), Logan-6(March '03), Ethan-4(Nov. '04), and Laci-11/2(Sept. '07). Laci put us in the spot light for a brief moment. She was the first baby born at a new hospital in Gilbert. We made the evening news and the papers. It was crazy! I am a mom trying to keep her head above water. I helped coach one of my boys T-ball teams this spring and loved it! Most of my time is spent doing whatever my family needs me to do. So there isn't much else to fill you in on. I wish I could come to the reunion I'm really bumbed that I will miss the chance to catch up with some of you.

My girls Caralee and Jo; whom I love very much! Have stayed in touch since High School and I know they will fill me in on all the fun I will miss out on.All the best to all of you!

The passage of time is a weird thing. Some days it seems like yesterday that we were graduating. Then I look at my calendar and realize that my daughter’s high school graduation is next week. I’m going to have to admit that I’m getting old.

What have I been doing the last 20 years? Well, I jumped right into school at BYU starting summer term after graduation. Unfortunately, I had a little trouble choosing a major and didn’t take the best advantage of my time there. February of 1990 I met Phill Clay at my job in the computer science department. He told me that he had a rule that he never dated 18 year olds or freshmen. I didn’t mention to him that I had been 19 for only a week and that I was only a sophomore based on AP credits. To make a long story short we were married on August 25, 1990.

It seems my life plan is to jump into things full board. Just shy of ten months later we welcomed our daughter Elizabeth into our home. And then a little less than two years later along came our first son Thomas.

For awhile there we were very happy being a family of four. Then one day I woke up and realized that Thomas was almost five and we really HAD planned on having more children. The big surprise was that when we actually tried to have children it took a while. So by the time Matthew was born there was a nice six year gap between him and his older brother. So of course we had to have another in order for him to have a sibling to hang out with. Jacob was born two and a half years later.

This is how I found myself 20 years after graduation with two teenagers (17 & 16) and two in grade school (10 & 7).

I never did settle on one major long enough to graduate but we did manage to get Phill through both a CS degree and an MBA. But that doesn’t mean I have left school behind. No in fact quite the opposite. School has become a major aspect of my life. It started innocently by helping in my older kids classrooms. Then I became a reading tutor helping at the school a couple times a week. Currently I am preparing to give my life away as PTA president of Lindon Elementary next year. WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!! It was nice seeing Lynette McKinnon at PTA convention last week. It seems she made the same mistake.

When Elizabeth heads off to BYU next fall I hope she takes the life steps a little slower than I did but, I really wouldn’t change any of it. Life has had and will continue to have many bumps in the road but I must admit that I love where I am and what I am doing.

I hope to see a lot of you there at the picnic. I’m still not sure if we can make the dinner.

Although I only spent the last 9 weeks of High School at Provo High, it was by far the best 9 weeks of any of the four High Schools I attended. I am proud to be a Bulldog! I have enjoyed reconnecting with many great people from PHS over the last six years since returning to Utah, and enjoy attending my son's AAU basketball games in the Provo gym. I am looking forward to seeing many old and new friends at the reunion.

The last 20 years have been an amazing journey. After High School, I worked for a year, spent 3 months in Japan working, then spent two years in California (yes, on a bike). I spent the next four years in college, and then moved to California to work for Intel. We then moved to Boston to attend graduate school, and returned to California after graduation. In 2003 I moved back to Utah and founded Montigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where we developed several novel anti-cancer compounds that are currently treating humans in Phase I clinical trials, with positive results. I sold the company in 2006 and the scientific team and I started a genetic testing company where I currently spend most of my time and energy. I love living in Utah, am passionate about people, sports, nature, cars, and life. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion. Go Bulldogs!!
